MISSION

The Sacramento Leather Guard will aim to serve the Greater Sacramento LGBTQ+ Community through the presentation of flags in parades and at events. The Guard will be comprised of volunteers from the Sacramento Leather Community and will be open to ALL individuals seeking to represent the Leather Community while serving the Greater Sacramento Community. The Guard will offer vetted members training, volunteer opportunities, and camaraderie. The Guard is not a nonprofit organization; rather it is an group of motivated and dedicated individuals that wish to come together for the purposes of representation and service of and to the Leather Community.

The Guard welcomes ALL who are interested. If you have are military or prior military, you’ll be using familiar drill movements. If you have no prior Color Guard experience, that is not a barrier; the Guard will provide opportunities for training. Fill out the interest form to the right and you will be notified of an upcoming information session.
